PSALM 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and establishedd my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth-praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.

I love bible promises too, Robbin. The first promise that He gave to me is found in Jerimiah 39:17 -"But I will deliver you in that day, says the Lord, and you will not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid." I have claimed this one many, many times.
